Over the years Tiger Beer, Malaysia’s No. 1 Beer*, has been making lots of people happy. There’s nothing better than drinking a cold one and pairing it with the best kind of dish, street food. It pairs perfectly with the bold flavours found in Malaysian street food dishes. To incorporate this amazing Malaysian flavours with Tiger, they are also known to host extravagant events that are pretty lit! They would host large scale street food festivals that come with games and activities for all to join in the fun. Plus, watch live music performances and of course not forgetting the best company ever, a great selection of street food to savour alongside ice-cold Tiger Beer.

For this year, Tiger Beer has definitely outdid themselves with a fully immersive experience. The Tiger Street Food Virtual Festival is here and it’s all super worth it and must be experienced by all!

Opens from 11am to 9pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now till 29th November 2020, the Tiger Street Food Virtual Festival is much more than simply a home delivery service – it recreates the full experience of a food festival in a completely digital world.

First things first, you need to sign up at www.tigerstreetfood.my/register

Also, the first 10,000 people to register will earn a FREE 320ml can of Tiger Crystal, redeemable with any purchase from a vendor at the festival. Meanwhile, the first 1,000 people to successfully refer five friends using their unique referral code, will be rewarded with a free six-pack of Tiger Crystal.

Here’s our experience:

Once you’ve entered this one of a kind virtual experience, even we were blown away by how amazing the whole setup looks! So futuristic!  Users start off with setting up your own customized 3D avatar to represent you. That means choosing the gender you want, clothing, type of hairstyle, and your name. The options are endless. Once you’ve pressed confirm, time to party!

You’ll land in the Street Food Central where you’ll get to interact with your other avatar friends and mingle around. Of course the main thing here would be the food choices and there were just waaaayyyy too many choices. Hence, KL Foodie to the rescue!

Each week, KL Foodie will show you a selection of 10 must-try dishes available at the Tiger Street Food Festival. Some are crowd favourites and some are hidden gems, while others are limited-editions created exclusively for the festival.

Let’s not forget the drinks to pump us up when we’re uncovering the extraordinary. Proceed to the bar located at your top left from the entrance and get your orders in from Drinkies Bar. Pretty simple to make an order as you tap your cursor onto the bar, and you’ll be directed to the Drinkies beer purchases that you can select. You can order chilled Tiger Beer to be delivered to your home.

Use STREETFOOD30 promo code to get RM30 off with a min. spend of RM150 on Tiger Beer/Tiger Crystal. Limited to one redemption per user per day. Code is only valid for the first 150 orders per day (made between 3-5pm at the festival’s Drinkie’s bar).

Besides that, one of the fun parts of The Tiger Street Food Virtual Festival is the interesting and fun activities they have here. There are two games here that are hosted by YouTuber Lizz Chloe (better known online as Dumpling Soda) and Harvinth Skin. Lizz’s Chloe game of The Tiger Beer Hunt surely is an amazing race that is both suspense and super duper fun! It sets you collecting hidden bottles of Tiger Beer before the timer runs out. RM 5 promo codes everyday for the first 100 people!

Harvinth Skin’s game, the Tiger Crystal Mountain Climber Challenge is an adrenaline pumping mountain climb game where you gotta dodge obstacles and grab as many bottles of ice-cold Tiger Crystal and get goodies! Three highest scores will walk away with 24-can cartons of Tiger Crystal by the end of November.

Lastly, the food is branched out to three streets namely Kuala Lumpur street, Selangor street and Penang street. Each street comprises your favourite and newest vendors that their menu is catered especially for The Tiger Street Food Virtual Festival. We love how if you’re interested in one vendor, just tap on their stall and it’ll bring you to their menu and you can uncover their limited edition dishes as well. All complete with prices and description of food. What’s best is they cover food delivery within 15km radius of the vendor and you can eat happily while you explore the festival.

Use “TIGER8” promo code and get RM8 off your food and beer with a minimum order of RM30 at the festival. Limited to 3 redemptions per user, while stocks last.

Combo meals come with a free set of Tiger Street Food chopsticks and of course, pairing your beers with authentic street food.

Overall, we found Tiger Street Food Virtual Festival this year to be just spectacular and brilliant marketing skills amid a difficult year. It will certainly make many people happy and remember the good times via this virtual experience.
