There are two types of apam balik, one is cooked in a large hot pan, soft and fluffy and it’s usually cut into smaller pieces. While another is cooked in smaller pans and batter is spread thinner, hence it turns out more crunchy and crispy. If you are looking for the latter, this humble apam balik stall deserves your attention. It’s been operating for 5 years, located opposite Tadika Warisan Tiga in Setapak. It is generously filled with coarsely ground peanuts, sugar and a spoonful of canned corns that make every bite incredibly tasty. If you prefer a flavourful one, add on Nestum or Chocolate sprinkles which will only cost you RM1/piece. With a cost of RM0.70/piece only for original flavour, we wonder at what number of slices will you stop at ?
