Impromptu trip to #Batam with @celestialdelish today. We went to do massage at The Spa Secret Batam, which is just opposite Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall. Feeling hungry after my 4 hours spa, the manicurist recommended me to try Puti Bungsu (Address: 4, Lorong Yap Kwan Seng) which is just 2 mins walk from The Spa Secret. Here, you will find a variety of dishes stacked on top of each other. Once we enter, the waiters would carry stacks and stacks of dishes to our table. Just pick the dishes you like and you’ll only be charged for the ones you’ve eaten. My favourite is their ayam pop. It looks pale but the chicken chunks are boiled in tangy lime juice filled with onion and garlic before putting it into hot oil once order is made. It has super tender meat with meaty juices, and pairs well with the chilli dip.
