Balakong is a food heaven where you can get a variety of Chinese food from Charcoal Hokkien Mee, Roasted Duck, Spinach Pan Mee to dessert. It is a place where you can get food from morning till night. This humble stall has been serving Claypot Lou Shu Fun for 4 years. Located in Ho Ah Ming coffeeshop, a corner house with no signage in Batu 11 Cheras. It is in the centre of Batu 11 Cheras morning market, nearby Restaurant Ahlanna.
A variety of noodles are available here such as Fish Head Noodles, Hakka Mee, Pork Noodles and etc but this Claypot Lou Shu Fun (RM6.50) is one of the MUST try here. Lou Shu Fun is cooked with dark sauce till thick and rich then topped with an egg, vegetables, minced meat and fishcake slices. It’s sizzling hot so be sure you mix it well and each strand is completely covered with dark sauce. Take a bite on this savoury and flavourful springy lou shu fun, it can be addictive!
