Pan Mee is commonly found in hawker stalls or restaurants. Despite the carbohydrates and calories, it is still one of Malaysian’s favourite comfort food. Batu 11 Cheras Pan Mee is a humble restaurant which has been serving pan mee for 23 years in a corner lot housing area. They transformed a house into a restaurant/shop with no signage but still it’s one of the local folks or neighbourhood’s regular place to visit. Parking is limited here as it’s in a housing area, most cars parked along the roadside at their own risk.
As you entered the shop, you will notice there are a few cooking pots on standby hence it won’t take long for your food to be served. Upon order, dough is flatten with machine then cut into small pieces and cook along with anchovies broth. Added a handful of spinach for more flavours. And oh, their homemade wanton(RM1.40/piece) is highly recommended. Thin wanton skin with lotsa fillings, if that’s what you are looking for, add it in your pan mee or request for a separate bowl. A simple bowl of pan mee (RM6.50) topped with anchovies, fried shallots and pork slices. Pan Mee is smooth with perfect thickness, it is so irresistible.
