1: The Flu (Korean Movie) 2013
A group of immigrants are smuggled inside a shipping container with their final destination being South Korea. Inside the container, one of the immigrants is a carrier for a lethal and highly contagious virus. Byung-Ki (Lee Hee-Joon) and Byoung-Woo (Lee Sang-Yeob) drive to the shipping container to release the immigrants. They soon discover that all of the immigrants are dead, except for one man. Soon, thousands of people become infected every hour by the deadly virus, which kills within 36 hours of infection. The entire suburb of Bundang is quarantined by the government in a desperate attempt to stop the virus from spreading further. Firefighter Kang Ji-Koo (Jang Hyuk) is one of those quarantined. Dr. Kim In-Hae (Soo-Ae) is one of the first responders to the outbreak of the virus. The outbreak becomes even more personal once she suspects her own daughter (Park Min-Ha) is infected by the virus. Firefighter Kang Ji-Koo and Dr. Kim In-Hae frantically work together in a race against time to find a cure.
2: The Hot Zone (2019)
The Hot Zone, a six-part National Geographic miniseries that premieres Monday night, is based on a true story about Ebola. In 1989, a shipment of monkeys from the Philippines arrived at a private commercial lab in Reston, Va. The intention was to use the macaques for testing.
3: Contagion (2011)
Soon after her return from a business trip to Hong Kong, Beth Emhoff dies from what is a flu or some other type of infection. Her young son dies later the same day. Her husband Mitch however seems immune. Thus begins the spread of a deadly infection. For doctors and administrators at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, several days pass before anyone realizes the extent or gravity of this new infection. They must first identify the type of virus in question and then find a means of combating it, a process that will likely take several months. 4: 12 Monkeys (1995)
12 Monkeys is science fiction film that involves time travel. It stars Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt and Madeleine Stowe in lead roles. The film was directed by Terry Gilliam who gave us hard to watch movies like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas & The Zero Theorem. The story is set in a future where a deadly virus has killed most living things on the planet. The remaining humans live underground. A group of scientists are trying to find a cure to the virus that is plaguing the planet. But they need to get more information on the virus before the strain mutated. This means they need to send someone back in time to the year the virus initially spread. Watching the movie after all these years does lower the impact but is definitely a good watch. 5: World War Z

6: Outbreak (1995)
When a disease in Africa is discovered, Colonel Sam Daniels of the United States Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases or USAMRIID, is sent to investigate. When he reports back to his superior officer General Ford and tells him that they should put out an alert on this disease but the General that since the disease is so far away and not airborne that it can’t possibly reach the U.S. However, a monkey from that part of Africa was captured and brought to the U.S. and a man who works at the customs house took it and tried to sell it but when the person he tried to sell it to rejected it he released it. Later the man who arrived in Boston collapses and dies, Col. Daniels wants to look into it but General Ford denies his request so he turns to his ex-wife, who works at the Center for Disease Control or CDC to look into and they discover it’s the African disease but since it kills very quickly, Col. Selena and Mark rescue him from the horde and bring him up to date on the mass carnage and horror as all of London tore itself apart. 10: Deranged (2012)
Jae-hyuk is an ordinary man in his 40s. He works as a medical supplies salesman and is hassled by doctors all day.
