Meng Kee Char Siew in Glenmarie, Shah Alam is well known for their tender and juicy char siew. It is pretty crowded during lunch hour but fret not the service is fast and efficient yet you don’t have to wait long for a table or food. Char Siew is a must here as the name says it all! Meng Kee’s char siew is charred to perfection and gorgeously glazed. The pun fei shao comes with a good balance of fat and lean meat that literally melts in your mouth! Not overly sweet yet tender; flavours and texture is definitely on point, one piece is definitely not enough. You can also pair it with roasted or steamed chicken. Steamed chicken is slippery smooth with a hint of savoury from soy sauce while roasted chicken is juicy and tender.
