This Claypot Chicken Rice Stall Has Been Operating For 30 Years in The Same Spot!

This humble Claypot Chicken Rice stall has been operating and cooking in the same place for 30 years, though it has no name and signage but it is well loved by the neighbourhood. Most of their regulars have eaten since young till now. One thing that makes them stand out from the others is their special dark soy sauce. Chicken is marinated before it is put into the claypot with rice. A simple bowl comes with fresh chicken, Chinese sausages, a slab of salted fish (optional) or egg (optional) on top of your rice. Rice is cooked to perfection without any rice crusts and drizzle with a generous amount of dark soy sauce. So, mix it well and chomp it down to your heart’s content.
