This Char Kuey Teow Stall in KL Uses Charcoal To Fire Up The Wok!

You can get Char Kuey Teow at everywhere from hawker stalls to restaurants but a good one that packed with wok hei is hard to get. This humble stall serves you Charcoal Char Kuey Teow (RM7) in Restaurant Dai Xi Heng, Kajang. Yes! you heard it right, charcoal Char Kuey Teow is found in a humble stall! We were quite surprise when we saw it as most stalls use gas stove but this is definitely one of a kind! It involves a conspicuous amount of dark soy sauce to give it a more thorough and savoury flavour with a handful of cockles and prawns are added in and stir fried to perfection. To further augment the flavours, do top the noodles with a fried egg.
